In this special two-guest episode, “The Motto” hitmakers spout off on manifestation versus hard work, why the show must go on no matter what, how they came to work together, and give us a sneak peek at what we can expect from each of them next.

He is one of the most successful DJ's in the world. For this latest hit the business, reaching over one billion streams worldwide. It's get down to business. She has over one hundred million streams on spotify alone, making her one of the most streamed female artists of two thousand and twenty two so far. If what happens when you bring to powerhouses together? Well, the chart topping hit, of course, she has to Dave of Max's. The motto has taken the Dance World by store, quickly hitting number one on the US dance for DHR has been in the game for over twenty years. Of Feet...

...in and of itself have a Max, in comparison, is a relative newcomer to the scene, having signed her first record deal in two thousand and sixteen. She quickly made a name for herself with runaway success of our hit song sweet, with psycho, sweet, cool, Little Kay. I she screaming and I she screaming. Both artists set to drop new albums this year and with rumors of a collaboration with Drake Chasing Tst, it is time for them to reveal what they have up their sleeves and how the power of manifestation played a role. My name is Tamerdia. This is the spout podcast, where...

...famous people spout off about more than what they're famous for, and today that's Ava Max and ts though. Honestly, I just have to start with the big congratulations to you both, because your hits on the motto has reached number one on the US dance radio chart. So congratulations. Yeah, talk to me about creating the motto and how the collaboration between you and Ava Max came about. I always want to work with her, so we send her the Demo and she got in love with the Saul. Yes, he did her saying on it and silent perfect, and that's how that's how we can do other in the short quickly a have a what went through your mind when you first receive the demo? I kept bumping into my car and couldn't stop dancing to it. I was texting everybody, calling him bring. I'm like, Oh my God, we have to put this out as soon as possible. It's just so, so good. And what also went through your mind when you realize you're going to collaborate with tst? Oh my God, it's been a dream, the colabor ass so for a long time. Actually, for a few years. Um, I know we both were like working a lot...

...and then the pandemic happened and then, I mean this was just like the perfect moment. Yeah, I love that. That happens right like, isn't it? Test the motto is the follow up to your smash hit the business, which is certified platinum and has been streamed over one point one billion times. I'm going to repeat that because one point one billion with the bee is such an epic number. Disturbing numbers like that still shock you or you used to it by now? No, no, that that Ras shocks me. Like over a billion streams is incredible. I have to ask because you've already released these huge hit singles and there were rumors that we were going to have it last year. But fans are wondering when can we expect your next studio album? Oh well, I'm still looking at it, but you know, it's a working progress, but we get in there. You know how it is with creative quadi process. It's hard, but I think we'll be having the album ready by September and he said you are working on it. So are there any surprise collaborations on there? I mean is they're like a tes...

...to Kanye West track in the world. That would be amazing. You know, I love Kanye now. He's one of my favorite artists. is so creative, so I to have him on the album would be a big honor and I think it will be very exciting it. I don't know. We're putting it out there, we're speaking it into the into the universe, right. Well, I know you did T's a potential collaboration with drake in the past. Where do we stand on that? You know, Drake's is always busy to different things and if the right time, by moments, and that might happens. We buddies. So yeah, hit him with the text like hey, I got album coming out this year. What's good? Yeah, Heyvou you yourself are also putting up incredible numbers. You've reached over one hundred million streams on spotify, making you one of the most streamed female artist of two thousand and twenty two so far. I mean that is such an incredible feat. Speaking about, you know, putting things into the universe, did you always visualize this level of success for yourself? To be honestly, yeah, always, always. That's I was like eight years old I've always liked...

...had big dreams and I I mean you never know if you're going to make it, you know, when you're young. I think we always try. You know, at one point I kind of figured it out. Okay, I have to have a great team around me. I and some people who believe on me and and I think that's what I did. I built a team of people who really wanted to work and collaborate with me. That's when it started like flourish. Do you believe in like manifestation, because I do feel like, you know, when you're young and you have these big thoughts and feelings and you start to put that energy out there, I believe in energy coming back. I mean, do you believe in that at all? I just realize manifestation is you basically going out and doing it and not taking no for an answer. So I just figured that out. So people who say just manifest like yes, but you have to keep knocking on the door until you get a yes and not just sitting home dreaming, you know. So I think I had a little bit backwards and I was younger and I just now figured it out. At least you have a figured out. I think a lot of us are still trying to figure it out. I'm Tso,...

...what about you? Is that something that you subscribe to as well? I feel like it's such a buzzword these days. I believe in what you what you throw out there and comes back to you, and I'm always very postive person and the glass is always how fool for me. So I had a billion streams, my cup would runneth over, as they say. So, Ava, you recently removed all of your instagram posts and you're now only posting these gorgeous black and white photos. I love that you kind of like covered your face little because you probably know what I'm going to ask you. But when an artist does this, usually fans thinks that you're entering a new era. So have we officially entered a new AVA MAX era? We are about to enter it, I think. For me personally, the black and white resembles kind of that era is over. So yes, we are entering and okay, I have a follow up. I did already asked ts to about his new album, and generally when an artist is entering new era, that means new music is on its way. So what can you tell me about a new AVA Max Album? It is very different. It's still,...

...you know, upbeat and pop and anthemic, very anthemic, but it stems more for my personal life. Okay, and do we have a release date coming up or yes, but you know, we are gonna leave in there. That's okay, I gets. Well, we're very excited for that, obviously, and you know what, the success of the motto, I can only imagine what more amazing music we have coming out of the both of you. If I read somewhere that the craziest thing that ever happened to you on stage was a wardrobe function where you accidentally flashed everyone. Is that true? Yeah, but no one saw. Thankfully, I saw when I look down, because I was like I feel lighter, like I'm like, why do I feel light? The sheer top underneath this big like it was like chains over the sheer top. The change just just opened up and fell the floor and I didn't realize it cause I was just like jumping up and down. All of a sudden, I'm like, why do I feel naked? I...

...like turn around, I'm like, Oh my God, like I'm just flashing everybody. This sheer top was just like, I mean I was barely there. I was just like covering the top and said I was just walking around like this and we end up the show. You felt a breeze. Yeah, yeah, so I feel like you probably have some crazy stories from your shows because they're so high energy. What's the craziest thing that's happened to you on stage? I don't know, it's so a lot of stuff. I mean I remember one time, and let's when I started Dj. It was a long time ago. I was playing on this like, well, like a kitchen table almost, you know, this very, very small Gig, like five on the people, and one guy stumbled on stage and he extendedly fell on the DJ booth and the whole thing collapsed and the music stopped and I was standing there like, Oh man, what do we do now? An embarrassing moments. Yeah, the show must go on, right, let's go on always. Have you guys had a chance to perform the motto live together yet? I mean in Vegas, kind of, sort of, but...

...not like fully. Fully. Okay, well, we can't wait. Thank you so much, guys. Are Really appreciate your time and congratulations once again on the success of a motto. I was told for a long time you have to come out to represent other people. You have to and that would be like I would I be crying about I'd be like, I don't know how to do that. Yeah, but I felt like they were right and it's not right. We should not be for seing anyone to come out before they want to, before they know how to speak about. I feel very passionate and very protective of younger people. I could cry right now. I'd like makes me, it gets me very emotional.
