With the internet birthing new stars every day, it's hard to stand out from the pack, but every once in a while, one of those stars turns into a supernova. With the Internet birthing news stars every day, it's hard to stand out from the pack. But every once in a while, one of those stars turns into a supernova. One of the first generations that was raised entirely online, the Internet savvy of Montera Lamar Hill was made clear very early on. In the span of one year, he went from being a college dropout sleeping on his sister's floor to being a number one hit maker shattering records around the world, all from combining his musical talents and his social media prowess. And with that, little nas X was born, and what superstardom without a little controversy. After initially intending to hide a sexuality on Nozex, became the pop star...

...of the world needed seemingly announces he's gay on World Friday, Open, unabashed and inspiring. I can't tell you how much I admire you because here you are at the height of like your brand new career, brand new, and you decide to come out. It was something that I should have been done, but I was like, I was not in a position where I had to worry about like family and friends, like how they react, I guess, but it's like you know in the past year, like I'm I mean a new level, so it's like it doesn't really matter, I guess uh. And also just how it would be good for the young guns who are listening to me right now, who gonna have to go through stuff like this in the future, so like it's it's all right. I guess it is alright. His chart topping debut album Montero, spawned ultiple number one hits and...

...how to Who's Who of stars featured alongside him, but it was his overtly sexual music videos that had many people clutching their pearls friends, you know. A year after the album's release and a couple of Grammys under his belt, Little Nozex's trailblazing yet again with the announcement that he is the new president of Ryot Games League of Legends. I guess part of me wanted to try something new. I left my step on pop music, I left my step one culture. So now I decided to be the new president of League of Legends. You can call me Little nos Executive. See I'm funny too. I'm funny. And it wouldn't be a Little No announcement without the release of his new single Star Walking, which is now the official anthem of the League of Legends World Championship. With the World's right around the corners, stakes are too...

...high. So now as president of League, I want to make the greatest world's anthem of all time. Listen more stars Ready. This is a spout podcast where famous people spout off about more than what they're famous for. And today that's a little nos X. Here's Nick Major. What's up, man? How are you doing pretty good? How are you dude? I am so hyped to be chatting with you. Oh wait, I got a phone call coming in from my grammar. Real quick. Listen to that ringtones, read and read. So it's your new track. Oh my god. What's exciting about this release in particular is it's in collaboration with League of Legends. My friends. I've got a good friend Kelly Smith from the band The World...

Alive. The past a few years, he's had two songs that he's done with League of Legends World and Star Walking is your track. You are the President of League of Legends now, Little not Executive, I believe is what it's being dubbed. How that all come to be? Man? And congrats on the track? Mean League legends have always loved each other, and it was just a matter of time, you know. I was I called League on their phone and I was like, Hey, what are you doing tonight? And League was like, I don't know, you want to come over? And I was like sure, and I came over. So we have this collaboration that's awesome. And it seems like it's a song kind of about being yourself, following your own path and getting yourself to uh, the highest you want to go if I'm not mistaken, But break down the lyrics for me, for you because it is so catchy too. By the way, it's literally baked into my brain for the rest of time, I think,...

...for me, these lyrics just as you know, they're like a testament of what I've been doing and where I see myself going. And it's not the first time I've I've said this in the song, but I feel like it's the most theatrical I've been with it, you know, like using the stars metaphor, you know, the moon and stuff. And I think that's really cool, and you I love and I can just visually see a song. Yeah, And speaking of theatrical, you are quite a theatrical guy. Yourself, I mean, your your vision for the for the music videos. You put out the most like insane music videos that I've ever seen. Little nos X, I've seen it. You the five years in Montero State Prison. With a massively successful debut album under his belt, Little nas X embarked on his first headlining tour, the Long Live Montery Ou Tour, which has stops...

...around the world. You're in your first headline tour. Man, that's so sick. I mean your career that you're getting to live out now. It's what you kind of always dreamed of, what you always wanted to do, and now it's at a scale to wear on your first headline tour. The production I mean I'm looking at it's just got all the ms. It's got Montero, it's got music, it's got men, it's got muscles. The tour is so fun and the response is like even better. I never went to like concerts growing up, Like, no, I've probably been to one concert, but it's not really a concert. It's like me going up to see when people perform after me at a festival. So it's really sick to see people like, oh my god, this is my favorite concert ever. Or like stuff like that. I'm like, oh, actually really like you know, have you seen have you seen like a Beyonce concert? But yeah, but what's the bus flight for you? You you enjoying the stopping at truck stops and gas stations late at night, running in getting I actually love...

...stopping in random places in the middle of nowhere to gas station. Like it's literally it feels like a dream. You know. Um, what happened last night though? I stayed up all night into like five am, and once my my tour bus got to a hotel, I like stayed sleep for two hours and the tour bus is parked in front of the hotel and people kept beeping. You got like so crazy, Um that I ended up in New Jersey and I was supposed to be in New York. But that's a long story. Anyways, been fun though, It's been fun. And what would a long live Montero tour be without protesters outside the first stop? And who with Little nos XP if he didn't troll them on social media? I saw your opening act last night was a group of protesters outside protesting the show. For you, you tried to give them some pizza. I thought that that was nice of you. But you guys pizza, we thank you. We appreciate it, but you know, thank you. And I saw the handsome Devil out there also that I decided to protest. He just wanted to meet...

...you. I mean, that's that guy. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've missed him so much. I'm gonna locate after I get off this chat. I'm jumping on a plane. I'm gonna find him for you. But you have back to the League of Legends talk, because, uh, I know that you're not new to the video game world. You had to work here last year. Video Oh my god, were you games as a kid. But you know, especially like my my d S sign like my game Boy, and I like play like all the not don't curse, don't curse. I played all the like the Marios and like the Sonics and like stuff like that. That was really sick. I saw someone filming your set with the DS the other night, and I was like, respect to that. That's some high quality footage right there that they're going to be getting. That's that's a real person, you know, Like that's how you know somebody is like really often that's a of course, Little mas X is not just a name in the music world, has bold alphit choices have helped him carve out of place in the fashion and beauty world as well. You're also such a...

I mean, the outfits you wear are in the same well every time I see you, I'm like, damn, look at this guy. All the different outfits that you got on stage, and I know that you you've been collaborating. You're an ambassador to coach your ambassador y A Cell Beauty, I'm littles X. Because you seem to just be killing it on all fronts from video games to music to fashion to meaning to cherking everything. Um, the fashion line was really exciting, you know. I guess I thought the fashioning role in general would be much more like snobby or and stuff, and just like then, you know that there's a lot of like really great people out there. You were really stepping into like this next generation as well. We just saw you in the Little X video. Talk a little bit about that moment and...

...what that was like. Because people couldn't believe you are a part of the video. Here's the deal, and here's what I'll say about Little nas. He is what my generation fought for and the generations before me. That's what we fought for for him to be able to do exactly what he's doing as a black queer man in this world, in this business. What you got planned next? Man? It seems like you're heading over to Europe. I know. I think you got one stop in Australia, which is gonna be rad I hope to catch you out here in Los Angeles because your set looks incredible. But what's next on the agenda for Little Nastex.
